The Service of Cultural Affairs and the OPMA (Office provincial des Métiers d'Art) presents, from 22 October until 14 November 2004, an exhibition called Design 2004.

This ambitious second design exhibition is located in the very heart of the town and shows works of some forty designers and students coming from Wallonia and the Euregio Meuse-Rhine., click on "sommaire" to get the full programme.

This Biennial is combined with several other events. In the Espace Wallonie, an exhibition with contemporary works from the glassblowing factory Val-Saint-Lambert takes place. In parallel, the Maison des Métiers d'Art of Liège shows a selection of “Botte-Cul” from Lausanne (little chair used by Swiss farmers to sit on while they milk).

On 28 October at 5 p.m., a symposium is organized in the auditorium at the Cœur-Saint-Lambert, followed by a meeting with well-known designers.
On 9 November, an economic day is held in the Vertbois Conference Centre covering the topic of the relationships between designers and companies.

Finally, during the week-end of 22-23 October, some shops in Liège take part into a Design Itinerary throughout the city.
