Designers and companies can now register their examples of creativity and outstanding design with the red dot award: communication design 2004.
Until June 18, 2004, designers, agencies and clients from all over the world are invited to submit their communication design works to take part in one of the world's most renowned competitions of the trade.
- Corporate Communication
- Financial Communication
- Public Areas
- Printed Values
- Television and Electronic Media
- Culture and Sports
An independent jury of international design experts sets the highest standards for the award with the internationally coveted seal of quality, the red dot or the red dot: best of the best. The jury changes every year and also presents three special awards:
- For the first time, it will present the red dot: digital media for the best work in this sector this year.
- The highest honor is the red dot: grand prix for the most outstanding achievement of all submitted works. It is endowed with Euro 10,000. This makes the red dot: grand prix Europe's communication design award with the highest endowment.
- In addition, the competition also promotes young talents. The red dot: junior prize goes to the best student work. It is endowed with Euro 2,500 and is sponsored by the Alliance of German Designers (AGD).
Festive Award Ceremony at Essen's Philharmonie
For the first time, the award ceremony will take place in the new Philharmonie in Essen - because the guest list for this event has become longer each year, the generously dimensioned Philharmonie offers the appropriate setting for the event. After the award ceremony, the exhibition at the red dot museum will be open. The special exhibition will present all awarded works from December 4, 2004 until January 9, 2005.
